From total shame to reclaiming my gender and my power as a woman…
Having grown up in the slums of Karachi, Pakistan, I experienced childhood sexual abuse and believed that I did not matter because men were more important than me.
I manage to escape to Singapore at the age of 27, only to realise that there is no escape because I carry the prison of shame inside my soul and the only way to break free is to walk through it and do things I am not supposed to do.
The thought starts a journey both externally and internally for me. I ride horses, jump from aeroplanes, eat forbidden food and experiment with sex. Internally, I explore my sense of unworthiness, reflect on love and belonging and find my personal God/Goddess.
When you finish reading my story, you will feel inspired and make fear and shame your new allies.
